Greatest Actors of All Time

Clark Gable in Gone with the Wind. Marlon Brando in The Godfather. Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra. These are just a few of the greatest actors and actresses of all time and they stared in some for the greatest movies of all time. Of course, who is considered the greatest is subjective, everyone has their opinion as to what makes an actor or actress great. Some people will base it off looks, who is the best-looking actor. While others will base it on their ability to cry, or to successfully do their own stunts, or maybe you prefer someone who can drastically change their look, gaining or losing weight for a role. Whatever your personal preferences are for liking an actor most people can usually agree when an actor is better than the rest. For that reason, they more often than not are cast in many roles and have a fruitful career. Here a few of the greatest actors and actresses from the last few decades that have had successful careers!

Marlon Brando

Robert De Niro

An American actor, born August 17, 1943, Robert De Niro is not only an actor but also a producer and director. He was cast in the 1974 film The Godfather Part II and for his fine acting he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has long worked with director Martin Scorsese and while working with him has won several other awards. His list of awards and triumphs are extensive, he has played various roles and proven that he truly is one of the greatest actors of all time.

Elizabeth Taylor

Born February 27, 1932, Elizabeth Taylor was a British American actress and so much more. She was a successful business woman and humanitarian. She started her career as a young child and quickly rose to fame. She remained a popular actress and style icon all of her life. She was named the seventh-greatest female screen legend in 1999. She is well known for her breakout role in National Velvet, and from there her career only grew. Her most well-known role, however, may be that of Cleopatra which she played in 1963. Cleopatra was the most expensive film ever made up until that point. Her career flourished from then on and she was often in the news up until her death in 2011. Her long and vast career makes her one of the greatest actresses ever!

Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood is an infamous America actor, filmmaker, musician and so much more. He first rose to fame in the Western TV series Rawhide. After that he was quickly cast in many other roles and his success only rose from there. He went on to have an extremely successful career as both an actor and a director and is easily one of the greatest actors of all time.
