He was born on November 17, 1942, to Charles and Catherine Scorsese who both worked in Manhattan’s garment district and came from Palermo, Sicily. Charles grew up in the quiet neighbourhood of little Italy and most of his movies were inspired by his upbringing.
Have you seen “Psycho”? That blockbuster was directed by this great man. Alfred parents were both of half English and half Irish descent and he was born in Leytonstone, Essex, England. He grew up and went into the movie industry as a writer first. Then he started making his own movie and grew to become one of the greatest movie directors known in the movie industry today.
Stanley grew up in Manhattan New York City and was born to Sadie Gertrude and Jacob Leonard Kubrick who was a physician. Stanley consistently had poor grades at school although he was considered intelligent. He later left school and went into script writing and movie production where he became a top-notch movie director.
Already from a music and movie background, Quentin followed the footsteps of his father who was an Italian-American actor and musician from New York. His parent separated, and he moved in with his mother at the age of four. He grew up and went into movie writing. He wrote countless of high-end movies and even had some movies he directed.
Gifted in many arts, Orson had so many skills even as a child. He was good in magic, piano, and painting. He lost his mother at the tender age of nine and travelled around the world with his dad, from where he gained so much knowledge about life, history, and invention. He later went into movie production and was one of the best actor and director of his time.
Francis Ford Coppola
Francis was the producer of The Godfather Part II. He was born in Detroit but was raised in the New York suburb by a creative, supportive Italian-American parents and environment. He followed his parents, his father who was a composer and musician while his mother was an actress. He went to the Hofs7 University and graduated with a degree in Drama. From there he went into the movie industry and made a mark for himself.
